Six students from MCC’s Honors Institute presented their research at the 2014 Northeast Regional Honors Conference in Niagara Falls from April 4th to the 6th. The conference is sponsored by the Northeast Regional Honors Council – an organization dedicated to the encouragement and support of undergraduate honors education – and this year’s theme was “Standing on the Edge: Challenging Boundaries and Power.”
Students had the opportunity to tour the city and the Falls as part of the “Places as Text” experiential learning series, engage in local service learning projects, meet and socialize with other honors students from throughout the Northeast, and present their research.
