The LeRoy V. Good Library is now loaning laptops to students for use on the 3rd and 4th floors of the library. The twelve new wireless laptops provide users with access to all library resources, Microsoft Office Software, Internet Explorer 6, CD/DVD or floppy drives, and a SmartMedia drive. Students may check out the laptops at the circulation desk for two hours at a time with an MCC ID and another picture ID. The wireless laptops utilize the Windows XP operating system. The Library Wireless Committee of Ted Ciambor, Peter Genovese, Dan Noblett, Ellen Mancuso, Pam Czaja and Jan McNamara worked to establish and promote this new service for ETS: Libraries.
