Attention all WR-certified faculty!
It’s time to recertify your Writing Intensive (WR) course(s) for Fall 2016. Doing so ensures that students know which WR courses are available on the master schedule once registration opens.
Recertification is easy. Please send the following information to me, Amy Burtner (Interim Coordinator for WAC), at <

* Course prefix and number
* Course section(s)
* CRN(s)
By recertifying your course you agree to support the WAC Objectives (<
https://www.monroecc.edu/depts/wac/wac_obj.htm> ) and to meet the criteria for a WR class ( <
https://www.monroecc.edu/depts/wac/criteria.htm> ).
The following courses do NOT need to be recertified, as they have permanent WR status:
* All AHPS courses
* All ENG courses
* All PHL courses
* All Honors sections
* All HMN courses
* BIO 114, 155, BIO 156, BIO 133-SLN sections
* CHE 251, CHE 252
* CIS 209
* COM 130, COM 131, COM 151, COM 230
* EDU 208
* ESL 130, ESL 201, ESL 145
* HIM 205, HIM 206, HIM 213
* MTH 155, MTH 156
* NUR 111, NUR 112, NUR 150, NUR 211, NUR 212, NUR 214
* PPE 208, PPE 175
