Samite: Soul of Africa

Before you leave for spring break, don't forget to mark your calendar for Samite: Soul of Africa in the MCC Theatre on Friday, April 25, from 6-8 PM. Samite, an Ugandan musician, storyteller, photographer, and anti-AIDS activist, will present music and stories of East Africa. Many MCC students, faculty, and staff have been involved in planning and presenting the day's activities, and the Global Interest Group thanks itsĀ generous sponsors: the MCC Counseling and Advising Center, Creative Arts Committee, Educational Technology Services, Liberal Arts Division, and Student Services, as well as the Rochester Afghan community, the Rochester Ethiopian community, and the Rochester International Council. The event is free and open to the public (parking in Lot F), so please invite your friends and colleagues!
