Securing a New Downtown Campus for our Students

As you know, the Monroe County Legislature is expected to vote on financing for our new downtown campus on Tuesday evening, December 11.  While we are cautiously optimistic, we are not letting up on our advocacy efforts; we are working full speed ahead to ensure that the community understands the importance of this project to our students and our community.

President Kress and MCC student Veronica Alexander will discuss the downtown campus project on Rochester in Focus this Sunday, December 9, 7:00 am on 10 NBC. I invite you to tune in.

There’s still time to make your voice heard by signing our
online petition and encouraging your friends and family to sign it as well. To date, we have nearly 450 signatures, but with your help, we can make an even stronger statement!

Certainly, all are welcomed to attend the meeting of the Monroe County Legislature, Tuesday, December 11, 6:00 pm in the County Office Building, 39 West Main Street. Legislative chambers are on the fourth floor. For those who can’t make it, we’ll share the news as soon as we have it via our social networks and e-mail.

Many thanks to everyone for your help in achieving this important project for our students.
