College 101 for Parents
How to Choose a Major
Thursday Nov. 20
6 to 8 p.m.
Monroe A and B

Parents play a critical role in advising their kids on college. So how can they help when their college-bound student is struggling to choose a major? This free session, Choosing a Major, is designed for parents of students who need some guidance on defining their goals.

This is the second workshop in the “College 101 for Parents” series that will be offered throughout the academic year. Future workshops include "Athletic Recruitment, Honors Programs and Students with Disabilities" on Tuesday, Dec. 16, and "Understanding the Financial Aid Process" on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004.

Parking is available in Lot M and M1 at the back of the Brighton Campus. This event is free and open to the public. Call 292.2231 or e-mail <mailto:mmcneil@monroecc.edu> to reserve seats for this session and/or future sessions.
