Join us for this informative presentation at DCC on Thursday, March 24th at 2:00 pm in room 4151. Melanie Grossman, Outreach Coordinator from the NYS Consumer Protection Board, will be speaking on financial literacy. Her presentation will include ways to protect yourself from scams and identity theft, how to build and use credit safely, and how to prepare your taxes for free. Some faculty are offering extra credit, so check with your professor if you are interested in receiving extra credit for attending. See attached flyer for details.
Immediately following will be DCC’s FAFSA Fest. Come and file your 2016-2017 FAFSA with assistance from financial aid staff and participate in DCC’s Community Resource Fair. Check in for the FAFSA Fest and Resource Fair begins at 2:00 on the 5th floor atrium at the Damon City Campus. Hope to see you there!
