Over 400 2+2 and Honors students and parents participated in receptions hosted by the Admissions Office on April 21 and April 26, 2010. MCC experienced a slight decline in our high school market share for Fall 2009. This initiative was proposed and implemented to mitigate the impact of a more competitive recruitment environment of traditional students. This event was also a particularly good introduction for new students to our Honors Institute.
The receptions were designed to highlight the students’ “Next Steps” in the enrollment process. Presenters included Holly Wynn-Preische (Career Center), Rebecca Mack (Career Center), Ramon Rodriguez (Financial Aid), Paul D’Alessandris (Honors Institute), Mary Méndez Rizzo (Admissions Office), Rebecca Armstrong (Admissions Office), and Trung Nguyen (Campus Center).
