The Fourth Annual 3rd Floor/Bldg. 1 Scone Bake-off, held on Monday, Feb. 19th, raised
over $300 to help support the health care costs of former MCC basketball player Mindaugas Boruta.
Judges Connie Herrera, Gerry Burns and Diana Rayner crowned a cranberry orange scone baked by Dawn Quatro and Jean Heinsler as this year’s winner. Other contestant bakers included: Gail LePore, Jenny Lorenz, Barb O’Connell, Bill Wagoner, Sandy Warren and past winners Jeff Bartkovich, Connie Herrera and Anne Perry.
Thanks to all participants -- bakers, judges and tasters – who helped make this annual event a delicious and delightful success.
