We are pleased to announce a new scholarship--the R. Thomas & Kate Flynn Scholarship. This new scholarship recognizes a graduating male and female Monroe Community College student who has excelled both in and out of the classroom and has made a significant contribution during their time at MCC. The student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be graduating from MCC. A scholarship of $500 will be made to one female and one male student at the Student Awards Banquet on May 15, 2009.
We are accepting nominations through May 1, 2009. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to nominate students who would be worthy of this recognition. We are grateful to Mr. and Mrs. Flynn for funding this new scholarship.
Nominations must be typed and submitted to the Brighton Campus Center Office or the Damon City Campus Center Office no later than May 1, 2009.
