In the Oct. 20 edition of the Democrat and Chronicle's ROCWeekend guide, food writer Karen Miltner raves about her recent dining experience at Reflections. She visited our student-run restaurant on Oct. 14, when Caribbean food was served as part of an international series event featuring cuisine from a different region of the world each Friday through Dec. 9. She was thoroughly impressed with the meal and service, particularly "the level of detail and sophistication the students are able to achieve."
Thanks go to Chef Gerry Brinkman in Hospitality for facilitating the media opportunity. Department Chair Michelle Bartell reports that phones were ringing off the hook all day from community members eager to make reservations.
