During Spring Semester, Services for Students with Disabilities on the Brighton Campus is starting a new policy for accommodation letters. Students will be responsible for picking up their letters and delivering them to each faculty member after classes begin.
Students will benefit by being more responsible for contacting faculty members to introduce themselves and to discuss their accommodations. Faculty will benefit from meeting each student when they receive the letter. SSWD will benefit by saving hours of hand writing and delivering letters, freeing time to answer student and faculty questions at the beginning of the semester.
