Artist’s Workshop with Amy Fagin


Learn about and experience one of the oldest ritual arts celebrated worldwide in this exclusive workshop with visual artist Amy Fagin.

The workshop will explore
illuminated ketubot, an art form based on rules specified in the Talmud that reflects the rich diversity of Jewish culture throughout history.  Fagin’s Beyond Genocide exhibit is now on display in the Flynn Campus Center Forum.

Fagin will also present a lecture on her exhibit Beyond Genocide as part of the college’s 21st annual Yom HaShoah Commemoration on  May 5 at 1 pm in the Flynn Campus Center Forum (3-130).

The artist’s workshop and exhibit are sponsored by the
Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Project and the Creative Arts Committee.
