Please join the Fantastic Literature and Arts Collective (FLAC) for a screening and discussion of Ghost in a Shell at 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 7 in 5-200.
Ghost in a Shell, Mamoru Oshii’s 1995 animated thriller, is a dystopian vision of the future digital technology in an increasingly amoral and nationalistic world.
Professor Carl Silvio will introduce the film and moderate discussion afterward. Light refreshments will be served.
Ghost in a Shell is the second in a series of three films presented as part of FLAC’s Spring Science Fiction Film Festival. The festival will also include Terminator 2 on May 5.
