Faculty Senate Professional Development Week Program Now Available!

The Faculty Senate Professional Development Committee is pleased to announce the schedule of events for MCC's 5th annual Professional Development Week, scheduled to take place June 4th-8th, 2018, on the Brighton Campus.

Please find the 5th annual Professional Development Week program below. This program is also available in the Professional Development Week folder of the "Awards, Professional Leaves, and Professional Development Events" section of the Faculty Senate Blackboard page.

This year's event will feature an array of programming for faculty and staff. Highlights include: multiple training sessions and workshops; an emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion; numerous sessions aimed at improving student success in the classroom, through advising, or with the use of data; and several workshops dedicated to personal well-being. This year's event will feature the MCC Wellness Committee's Wellness Day on Wednesday, June 6th, and will conclude with the Teaching and Creativity Center's 2018 Teaching & Learning Conference Micromessaging to Reach and Teach Every Student on Friday, June 8th, from 830am-2pm. Please note that the the opening and afternoon sessions of Wellness Day, and the the Teaching and Creativity Center's 2018 Teaching & Learning Conference, require RSVPs.

The Faculty Senate Professional Development Committee would like to thank all employees who submitted programming. We look forward to a week of exciting and thought-provoking trainings, workshops, presentations, and discussions.
