Resident Assistant nominations needed


We are looking for dynamic student leaders to work and live in the new
residence halls, and we need your help!
The Division of Student Services is currently accepting applications for
nine Resident Assistant positions.

Resident Assistants (RA) are students who provides leadership,
assistance, and support to the students living in the residence halls.
The RA serves in diverse roles and works in collaboration with the
professional staff and other RA's to maximize the experiences of
students in the halls. Due to the nature of the job, an RA needs to be
an effective manager of his/her time and personal commitments.

If you know of any dynamic student leaders, please forward their name(s) to me.
We will send the student an application, along with a letter inviting them to apply for the
position.

Our application deadline is approaching quickly -- all application materials
are due to the Office of Student Services by March 26, 2003.

Qualifications: 1) Completed one year of course work and earned a 2.25
G.P.A.; 2) must be in good standing with student conduct; 3) Must be
matriculated at MCC and registered full time; 4) student's academic load
limited to 12 to 18 hours each semester., and 5) must maintain good
academic and judicial standing at the College.

Remuneration and Benefits: Full single room waiver, and a $700 stipend
per semester.
