What You Should Know About Sexual Assault


April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM).  The Personal Health and Safety Committee, Department of Residential Life and Peer Mentors are co-sponsoring the following events presented by speakers from Rape Crisis Service.  Events will be held on the Brighton Campus open to all students, faculty and staff. 

On Wednesday, April 13th at 7:17 PM in Pioneer Hall located in the Alice Holloway Young Commons-A candid discussion about sexual assault, along with video and Q&A session.  Don't miss out on a important participative and informatively fun event on a serious topic.

On Friday, April 29th at College Hour in Warshof Conference Center-Monroe B located in the R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center- "Rape and Sexual Assault-the Unknown Truth".  The presenter will focus on addressing date/acquaintance rape, will do a victim empathy exercise, and will talk about the myths of rape.
