April 13 marks the Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Project’s 20th Anniversary Yom HaShoah Commemoration -- celebrating two decades of education, commemoration, and advocacy at MCC. Yom HaShoah, an international day of remembrance, commemorates the lives and heroism of Jewish people who died in the Holocaust between 1933 and 1945.

In honor of the 20th anniversary, the annual Yom HaShoah Commemoration will extend into the evening for a keynote presentation from Marcia Sachs Littell, Ph.D. Littell is the founder of our nation’s first master of arts degree program in Holocaust and Genocide Studies at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Reflecting on her own experiences as a Holocaust studies student, Littell will talk about power of Holocaust education to transform lives.

Please join us for this thought-provoking presentation.
