Tedium-The Final Step to Spring Grading!

Tedium-The Final Step to Spring Grading

Grade confirmation reports for spring semester will be delivered to your mailboxes in the mailroom this week. Checking these lists is not an exercise in futility; it is an exercise in tedium. But it is USEFUL tedium as it ensures that you filled out your grade roster, or 115 screen, with the grades you intended to assign.

Since the majority of the people handling grades in the R&R Office are human, I am going to extrapolate and assume the majority of the people filling out the grade rosters and 115 screens are human too. That means we make mistakes. The grade confirmation reports are one last chance to review the grades that were submitted and to make changes, if necessary. As always, changes should be made using the Academic Grade Change Form.

If you graded online (115 screen), please SIGN the grade confirmation list and return it to the Registration and Records Office. This will be imaged, with your signature, as the official grade document. If you didn’t grade online you may keep or discard the list. We do not need it back.

Please take a few minutes to do this last check of your grades. I know there are errors out there and would love to get them corrected before we all enjoy our fun in the sun.
