National Wear Red Day, Friday February 2 at MCC

GO RED FOR WOMEN Day is Friday, February 2, 2007.

The American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) sponsors this annual event to support the American Heart Association’s groundbreaking national movement designed to help raise women’s awareness of cardiovascular disease and empower women to reduce their isk. Too few people realize that heart disease is the No.1 killer of women – and of men – but the good news is that heart disease can largely be prevented. The AAWCC Community Service Committee members want to thank you in advance for your support to encourage women to take charge of their heart health. Co-Chairs this year are Denee J. Martin (VaPA) x3126 and Diane Clements (Office and Computer Programs) x3312.

We look forward to seeing “RED” Friday, February 2.
