Enrollment Management Plan

As a follow-up to Dr. Kress’s presentation on enrollment to the Board of Trustees earlier this month, I’d like to share more information on important enrollment work already underway.  Since enrollment is an institution-wide, intentional, and comprehensive process, we have created an Enrollment Steering Committee (ESC) with representation from many areas of the College.

The Enrollment Steering Committee has the primary responsibility for recommending and supporting initiatives that can be aligned with College resources. Charged by President Kress, the Enrollment Steering Committee is developing, monitoring, and evaluating all aspects related to the recruitment, retention, graduation, and support of MCC students. The College’s ultimate measure of success is our students’ track record in achieving their educational goals.

The Committee’s first, and most critical initiative to date, is the development of a three-year Strategic Enrollment Management plan for MCC.  A plan will be presented to the President’s Cabinet in late spring.  It will outline institutional goals, objectives and strategies to generate enrollment. There will be opportunity for campus feedback as part of the process.

Currently, the Enrollment Steering Committee consists of the following members:

Randy Bowen, Associate Vice President, Enrollment Management (Chair)
Christine Casalinuovo-Adams, Director, Admissions
Marlene Fine, Director, Advisement and Graduation Services
Jerome St. Croix, Director, Financial Aid
