Student Altercation Update


Monroe Community College continues to work closely with the Brighton Police Department to maintain a safe environment for students and employees on campus. At this point, the police investigation of the altercation that occurred Tuesday afternoon (Nov. 11) is ongoing and additional people are being questioned. If you witnessed the altercation or have pertinent information, please call 911 or MCC’s Public Safety Office at 292-2911.

Increased security measures are in place. Brighton Police officers are present on campus, as are additional MCC Public Safety personnel.

Victims were treated at local hospitals.
