Earth Day Celebration: Old Books = New Art

Please join us on Friday, April 22 for an Earth Day Celebration!

On that day, from 11:00am to 2:00pm, the LeRoy V. Good Library (Brighton Campus Library) will be hosting an art event featuring old, discarded books. Come see how artists used recycled books as a way to keep them out of the dump, save some money, and be nice to the environment. Discarded/unwanted hardcover books were used as sketchbooks, journals, or both. Earth Day should be every day!

Individuals and groups will be on hand to speak about this project. Many of the artists involved in this project will be on hand to speak about their creations. Come join us! Free and open to the public.

Where and When: Friday, April 22, 11:00 to 2:00pm, 4th floor of the Brighton Campus Library
