To Members of the Voting Faculty of Faculty Senate:
The NEG Committee of Faculty Senate is seeking nominations from among the Voting Faculty for the position of MCC representative to the SUNY Faculty Council on Community Colleges. The term of office is for three years beginning September 1, 2004. The attachment below contains a description of the FCCC and the responsibilities of MCC's representative.
Nominations should be submitted via e-mail to Susan Cable, NEG Committee Chair, by no later than 5 pm on Wednesday March 31. Nominees will be contacted by NEG after March 31 and asked to prepare a written statement explaining their interest in the position. An election will be held in May. The candidate receiving the highest number of votes will become MCC's representative to the FCCC, and the candidate receiving the second highest number of votes will become MCC's alternate representative.
