Celebrating Cornwall (Kernow)!

Join MCC’s Celtic Society today at 6 p.m. in 12-129 for a F-R-E-E screening and discussion of the movie SAVING GRACE.

Set in a small town in coastal Cornwall, this quirky comedy centers on the attempts of widow Grace Trevethyn (played by Brenda Blethyn) to pay off the numerous debts her husband has left behind. Helped by her gardener (played by Craig Ferguson) and other locals, including Dr. Martin Bamford (the same Doc Martin of the well-known TV series), Grace embarks on an unusual, if potentially lucrative and illicit money-making venture.

Throughout the academic year, you can catch screenings and discussions of a number of Celtic-related films. Each is free and open to the community, and begins at 6 p.m. in 12-129.
