Lasch and DeHond Place First in MCC Toastmasters' Contests


Bob Lasch (Applied Technologies) wowed the audience with his speech entitled "Furry Fury" during the MCC Toastmaster's 2nd annual Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contests on Sept. 28 at the Brighton Campus. Diane Navarro DeHond (Instructional Technologies) won first place in the Evaluation Contest for demonstrating how to deliver an effective and helpful evaluation of an experienced speaker. Pam Kone (Applied Technologies) and Samson Olaode (STAGE) both came in second for the Humorous and Evaluation contests respectively. 

First place winners were scheduled to compete in the Toastmasters International Area 6 contests on Saturday. Oct. 2 at Hope Hall School in Gates.
