I regret to inform you that Zdzislawa (Jessie) Sztabkowski passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2008. Jessie joined MCC’s Building Services team in 2003 and was originally assigned to the Child Care Center. She was well liked by the staff, especially the children. After Jessie’s cancer diagnosis, the children sent her cards regularly wishing her well. Most recently she was assigned to the third floor of the Spina Administration Building. The Building Services Department will miss her greatly.
Predeceased by two brothers, Jessie is survived by her husband Waclaw, daughter Elizabeth (Jaroslaw) Piwonski, son Robert (Sarah) Sztabkowski and her grandchildren as well as her parents and family in Poland.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday, June 10, 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Chapel, 4545 Lake Avenue. At 6 p.m. there will be a rosary. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, June 11, 9:30 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church, Hudson Avenue.
