It’s Advisement and Registration Time in the Halls!

Are you looking for an opportunity to ease students’ anxiety about registering and work toward your contractual obligation to advise 15 hours for each semester? The HALL (Helping All Live and Learn) Connection is inviting faculty and staff to join us in the Residence Halls for advisement and registration of returning Liberal Arts students for Intersession and Spring 2006. Refreshments will be provided.

The HALL Connection (previously known as “The HALL Group” and the “The HALL Committee”) consists of faculty, staff and Residence Hall students who are all trying to meet the needs of this special part of our community.

We are offering a variety of time blocks over a three-week period to provide liberal arts advisement and/or registration opportunities to those students residing in the Residence Halls. We will be setting up in Pioneer Hall with computers, a printer, and all of the advising resources including an academic advisement professional on site to assist.

Advisement and Registration Sessions will take place the following days:

Wednesday, October 26, 2005 – 2:30-6:00 p.m. (only students with 20+ credits are eligible for registration that day)

To register a time slot so that you can assist these students and meet your advisement requirement, call Liz Pierce (English/Philosophy) ext. 3303, or e-mail "mailto:epierce@monroecc.edu" epierce@monroecc.edu
