Reminder: Name All the Animals Book Discussion and Grief Lecture

On Monday, March 20, the LeRoy V. Good Library will be hosting a book discussion of the If All of Rochester Read the Same Book choice for 2006, Name All the Animals by Alison Smith. Please join us for a lively discussion of this poignant memoir by a Rochester native prior to the author’s March 31 visit to our campus (sponsored by the Campus Activities Board, English/Philosophy Department and Writers & Books).

The book discussion will be held during College Hour, 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, in room 2-440 (fourth floor of the Library).

In conjunction with the reading of Name All the Animals, the story of a young girl following the tragic loss of her brother, the Library will be hosting the lecture “Life after Loss: Dealing with Grief” April 5. The lecturer, Rev. Jim Mulcahy, Chaplain for Visiting Nurse Hospice and Palliative Care for the Visiting Nurse Service of Rochester and Monroe County, will be speaking on the grief process.
