Come Hear What Faculty and Students Have to Say About Co-Requisite Models


The English and the TRS departments are collaborating on a pilot that enables students to take developmental writing while they are concurrently enrolled in ENG 101. Acceleration in developmental education (shortening the time students are enrolled in non-credit coursework) has met with positive results nationally and shows early promise here at MCC. If you are interested in this model and its implications for students and for the college, faculty involved in the Accelerated Learning Pilot (ALP) will be leading a discussion on Wednesday, May 3rd at noon in the Teaching and Creativity Center (12-201).
