"Blurred Lines/Clear Lines: Consent in a Rape Culture" at DCC!

Please join us for a presentation on the much-talked about song “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke. This Sociology Film Series at DCC event will examine the original video and lyrics, along with a portion of Thicke’s Video Music Awards performance, juxtaposed with a feminist analysis of sexual consent in what many call a “rape culture” in the United States. Please feel free to bring your class if you teach at this time. If providing this event as an extra credit opportunity, feel free to provide a sign in sheet for your students and we’ll make sure to get it to you.
