It’s not too late! The Writing Center is offering a $150 cash prize to the winner of the Alan B. Shaw Memorial Essay Award. The 2010 essay topic is “Music & Memory: A Personal Journey” and all MCC students are eligible to enter. The contest deadline is 12:00 noon, Friday, April 16, 2010. Students may submit their essays to the Writing Center (11-208) on the Brighton Campus, and to the TRS Mastery Lab (4262) on the Damon City Campus. The award and cash prize will be presented to the winner at a special ceremony.
