Brennan-Barry presents sessions at Penn State


 

Colleen Brennan-Barry, assistant director of marketing and community relations – Web communications, recently gave two presentations at the 2014 Web Conference at Penn State:

-           “Talking It Out: Simple, Sublime & (Sort Of) the Key to Project Success”, which addressed tactics, tips, and tools for building communication processes into basic project management methodology; and

-          “’Where We’re Going, We Don’t Need Roads:’ Using Yesterday’s Lessons to Navigate the Digital Marketing Landscape of the Future”, exploring digital marketing history, the evolution of higher ed audiences and expectations, and the emerging core marketing principles and tactics that will inform successful future higher ed digital marketing.

As well, Colleen was a featured presenter at the Penn State Social Media Summit, an invitation-only event comprised of master classes on digital strategy, tactics and issues. Colleen presented “Sound the Alarm: Preparing a Digital Crisis Communications Strategy.”
