GODSPELL will be playing in the MCC Theatre, Building 4 on April 2nd and 3rd at 7:30pm and April 4th at 2:00pm
One of the biggest off-Broadway and Broadway successes of all time, GODSPELL is based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew. In the Gospel, Jesus Christ preaches through parables and storytelling. In the show, which is not built on a traditional plot, the parables have been contemporized utilizing clowning, charades, music and more to celebrate and tell the story of the life and teachings of Christ. GODSPELL, features a sparkling score by Stephen Schwartz that calls on all modern musical influences, including Rock, Gospel, and Ragtime. Not just a “religious story”, GODSPELL is a lot of fun, heartfelt and not to be missed!
Tickets are $5.00 for MCC students, faculty, staff, seniors and children under 12. $8.00 for the general public. Tickets are available at the Brighton Student Service Desk and the Damon Campus Bookstore.
