Join us as we celebrate our student veterans on Veterans Day. The event begins at noon on Friday, November 11, 2011 in room 4193 on the Damon City Campus and is open to all members of the MCC Community!

* Welcome and Opening Remarks - Marcus Watts, Marine Corps Veteran
* Star Spangled Banner – as performed by Antoine Reeves, Army Veteran
* Video viewing of Rye Barcott’s MCC presentation, author of It Happened on the Way to War. He will take the audience on his personal journey through joy and heartbreak, friendships and betrayals, and the failures and triumphs of waging peace while fighting war.
* Refreshments will be served directly following video. Mingle with our students and express appreciation for their service.
