Applications are now being accepted for the second annual Faculty Association “Follow Your Dream” Scholarship! Please print and share attached application with students!
The FA "Follow Your Dream" Scholarship focuses on students who may have obligations outside of the classroom, such as caring for family members/children or working multiple jobs to make ends meet, while continuing to succeed at MCC. The scholarship was awarded to two MCC students last June and applied to their tuition during the fall 2014 semester.
The requirements for the scholarship are as follows:
1) Student must have attended MCC for at least one academic year (or be in the process of completing their first year upon applying for this scholarship).
2) Student must be planning to attend MCC for a second year.
3) Student must be attending MCC full-time.
4) Student must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
Each year an individual is named as special honoree for the scholarship. This year, Jan Wiranowski has been chosen as the special honoree. Jan showed his dedication to student success throughout his 47-year career at MCC as he encouraged all students to reach their potential and achieve their goals.
