RPN Programming Continues throughout December

The Rochester Parent Network (RPN) is excited to welcome Iya Sokoya-Karede to its Town Meeting for Caregivers, tonight at 8:00 p.m. on Time Warner Cable Channel 4. Sokoya-Karede is an accreditation specialist for the New Jersey/New York region and National Association of Family Child Care (NAFCC) board member. She will talk with members of the studio audience and viewers at home about the path to becoming a licensed child care professional.

The Town Meetings are made possible by a grant from the Rochester Area Community Foundation, in collaboration with Irondequoit Community Access Television and Monroe Community College.

The RPN also produces "Parent Talk," a television program for parents and care givers which cablecasts weekdays from 10 - 11 a.m. and 9 - 10 p.m. also on Ch. 4. The December "Parent Talk" programming calendar addresses topics such as the "first month," special needs, childhood nutrition and developmental disabiltiies in parents and care givers. Programming also focuses on the needs of special age groups (e.g., one-, two- and three-year-olds). Please click on the attached file for the programming calendar and plan to tune in!
