Count Down to D&C "Swarm Day" Begins

Exactly one week from today (May 4), Democrat and Chronicle reporters and photographers will capture a Day in the Life of Monroe Community College! As part of their "Swarm Day at MCC," D&C reporters will also be determining why "There's More to You. There's More to MCC" based on feedback from students, faculty, staff, administrators and alumni.

Please know that our guests from the D&C will use a meeting room in the R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center as their "main hub" for the day and will be visiting classrooms, offices and event functions on MCC's four primary campuses -- beginnning with early morning classes. Be prepared to smile for cameras and answer questions about Monroe Community College, your role at the college, and how MCC impacts our community.

A preliminary story list will be confirmed this week by our friends at the D&C. Public Affairs will notify those persons and departments shortly to confirm interviews and photo opportunities. Please note that reporters and photographers may also visit your classroom or office "spontaneously" unless you identify your preference not to be included.

If you would prefer reporters and photographers NOT VISIT your office or classroom on May 4, please contact Rosanna Condello, Public Affairs Office, x3024, or via email at  "mailto:rcondello@monroecc.edu" rcondello@monroecc.edu by Friday, April 30 (include your name, classroom/office and time you would prefer not be interrupted). If you are planning a special event, project and/or activity of interest that will be happening exclusively on May 4, please identify the event name, location and time and a brief description and notify Rosanna as soon as possible.

More details to follow shortly... Thank you for your cooperation.
