The Black Student Union at Damon City Campus (BSU @ DCC) welcomed Councilman Adam McFadden on Wednesday, March 09, 2016. The Councilman spoke about his upbringing in Rochester; globalization; voting rights; Black history; and a variety of other topics of interest to the student population. His presentation was well received.
Mr. McFadden was invited by BSU @ DCC Vice President, Tiara Grayson. The program was organized by Miss Grayson and the other BSU @ DCC officers: Miss Litasia Blanding (President) and Miss Kiyanna Dixon (Secretary). We look forward to hosting additional events.
BSU is co-advised by Professor Tokeya C. Graham (ENG/PHL) and Professor Banke Awopetu-McCullough (ESOL/TRS).
BSU @ DCC will have a general meeting on Monday, March 14, 2016 during College Hour in Room 5142.
