Passing of Dominic P. Montulli, Alumnus and Volunteer

I regret to inform you of the passing of Monroe Community College alumnus Dominic P. Montulli, MCC Class of 1964, following a 7-month battle with leukemia.

A member of the first graduating class, Montulli was a dedicated volunteer who served Monroe Community College out of a deep appreciation for the student experience he had at the 410 Alexander St. campus. Montulli generously supported the MCC Foundation by serving on the Alumni Council, the Alumni Hall of Fame selection committee and as co-chair of his 35th class reunion with his good friend, Anthony Ventura. His service to the college was as much about supporting MCC as it was about appreciating the lifelong relationships he developed at the college. Staff and volunteers of the MCC Alumni Program will miss him.

His family will receive friends on Thursday, Dec. 11, 3-8 p.m. at Profetta Funeral Chapel, 1650 Empire Blvd., Webster. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, Dec. 12 at St. John the Evangelist Church of Rochester, 150 Floverton St. (near Humboldt St.) at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to the Leukemia Society of America, 5500 Main St., Buffalo, N.Y. 14221 or to the MCC Foundation, 228 East Main St., Rochester, N.Y. 14604.
