Room Change: George Grattan's Lecture on Ecocriticism

Please note that eco-critic George Grattan's Thursday, February 1, lecture at 3:30 p.m. has been changed from Room 5-323 to the Empire Room in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center. The talk still is free and open to all faculty, staff, and students; and refreshments still will be provided courtesy of Longman Publishing, along with free books. More important, Grattan is an energetic, intelligent speaker with good ideas about drawing connections between environmental concerns and the classroom.

Also note that Grattan's Friday, February 2, noon-time professional development workshop remains in Room 3-115. This workshop will offer a hands-on approach to integrating environmental concerns with any writing-intensive classroom.

Both events are sponsored by the English/Philosophy Department, the Creative Arts Committee, and MCC's Sustainability Group. For more information, please contact Professor Maria Brandt at <mailto:mbrandt@monroecc.edu> or 585-292-3394.
