Look for a Book Drop Off This Week

The Anime Club, Cabbages and Kings, and the Health, Physical Education and Wellness Club are coordinating a book drop off during the dates of April 28 to May 2, 2014.  The student clubs are encouraging everyone to drop off their gently used or new books at several key drop locations at the DCC and Brighton Libraries, Applied Technologies Center, and the Public Safety Training Facility. Look for the book drop offs and encourage the entire college community to donate their new or gently used books to support K-12 students in the Rochester City School District.

Jeff Bartkovich, Vice President of Educational Technology Services, shares the book that inspired his family:

The movie and the book for Disney’s "The Little Mermaid" came out at a time in my daughter’s childhood when she was just beginning to understand stories. This book provided many wonderful times for the two of us to explore memories and imaginations. Ariel remains one of our most favorite princesses.

Bring your books this week to one of the designated locations!
