The Office Technology discipline is once again very excited to offer the course--OFT 270-Office Technology Seminar and Work Practicum--to better prepare students for work in an office setting. I am seeking 11 offices that would be willing to host an intern or interns for the spring 2016 semester. This will be the third semester offering this course, and have had great feedback from the students and offices. I need to place 11 students in offices throughout the MCC campus. The student will need to complete 45 hours of work in an office.
Course objectives are as follows:
1. To give students the opportunity to get office work experience
2. To give students the opportunity to do work-related activities
3. To give students the opportunity to prepare for office positions in the world of work
4. To give students the opportunity to have an understanding of current office topics and be able to address issues that arise in offices today by using problem-solving techniques
