"Return to the Forbidden Planet" Fall Musical

The MCC Fall Musical will blast off on November 16-18.  This is a wonderful 1950's  musical send up of the science fiction film classic FORBIDDEN PLANET.  The show features over 20 rock and roll classics of the 1950's and 1960's; such as WIPE OUT, GOOD VIBRATIONS, TEENAGER IN LOVE, PRETTY WOMAN, MONSTER MASH.  Even more fun is the fact that it is an adaptation of Shakespeare's THE TEMPEST.  So last year we had an abridged version of all of his works, and now we have Shakespeare in outer space.  Actually this is The Bard's lost rock and roll masterpiece and we found it tucked away in the archives, and decided it was time for this new classic to reappear.  The musical boasts a huge flying saucer set, live rock and roll band, and a cast of over 20, plus a few aliens here and there.  DON'T MISS THIS SHOW!

You can buy tickets at the Campus Center or at the door.  Performances begin at 7:30 on Friday November 16 and Saturday November 17, and a 2:00 matinee on Sunday November 18.  THIS WILL BE BLAST YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS.  If you have any questions please contact the director, Jim Simmonds at ext. 3317
