Green Light A Vet <
https://www.greenlightavet.com/> – a national initiative to honor the country’s veterans – is getting a boost from SUNY System Administration today as Chancellor Nancy Zimpher encourages SUNY colleges/universities, faculty, staff and students to participate.
Participating is simple: change one light to green in a visible location – at your home, in your office – and keep it glowing as a symbol of appreciation and support for our veterans.
And with Veterans Day on Wednesday, November 11, take a picture of your green light anytime next week and post it on social media with the hashtag #greenlightavet. Add @MonroeCC so we can potentially re-post and everyone can see our College’s support for veterans.
