The Faculty Senate is creating a collegewide assessment committee called the College Assessment and Program Evaluation Committee (CAPE).This committee will report to the Senate through the Curriculum Committee. The CAPE committee will comprise 6 people with various amounts of assessment experience with members serving three-year terms.
As part of the committee’s charge this year, they will be responsible for reviewing the report from an ad-hoc committee last year and updating the Foundations for Student Success: Learning and Assessment document, reviewing and suggesting changes to the “MCC Program Review Process Guidelines” and reviewing the process of assessing the Liberal Arts program and the general education programs here at MCC.
