Over the past few years, the MCC chapter of the American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) has placed an emphasis on presenting programs that help enhance the professional development of women here at the College. The organization has worked hard to find topics that lend themselves to this mission. Members and non-members alike have benefited from workshops on life balance and women's health along with lectures on the history of women at MCC and in sports. In addition, the AAWCC sponsors an annual Thanksgiving food drive and orchestrates MCC's Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.
