Celebrating Sustainability Week at MCC


Beginning Monday, April 26 through Friday, April 30, MCC will be celebrating Sustainability Week.  There will be multiple events focused on the importance of living green and making students aware of what they can do to help our environment.

Monday, April 26: A "lights out night" at the residence halls.  Residents will be asked to turn out their lights and come outside to take part in activities such as can jam, recycle bowling, and laser tag.

Tuesday, April 27: A screening of the movie
Food, Inc. in Building 5, Room 300 at 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday, April 28: A showing of a special video on the campus flat screens at college hour.

Friday, April 30: The chance to plant your own bamboo in the Atrium and learn about bamboo’s environmental potential.
