Join the American Association for Women in Community Colleges

Dear Colleague,

Welcome to the new academic year at Monroe Community College.  The Monroe Community College’s local chapter of the American Association for Women in Community Colleges invites you to join AAWCC.  If you were a member during the 2008-2009 year, we are encouraging you to renew your membership.  AAWCC membership is open to all faculty and staff.

The mission of MCC’s AAWCC local chapter is “Dedicated to changing women’s lives through leadership and education, thus strengthening our colleges and communities”.  The Executive Committee is looking forward to a year filled with worthwhile activities and an enthusiastic membership.

In the past, the local MCC AAWCC chapter has offered its members several opportunities to participate in community service projects, professional development programs, as well as networking opportunities.  For more information feel free to browse our website at "https://www.monroecc.edu/go/AAWCC"

If you are interested in joining, or renewing your membership, please complete the attached application and forward it with a check payable to MCC/AAWCC Chapter, to Jody Torcello, Graduation Certification, Brighton Campus.  Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event.  If you have any questions about the membership process, please call Kathy Baxter at x3101 or Beatriz Lebron at x1759.
