On Friday, December 17th, students in the STEP and Upward Bound programs at MCC celebrated the holiday season and performed a few seasonal science experiments at their annual holiday party. Pre-collegiate students had the opportunity to learn about chemistry by making instant snow in a cup and ammonia-crystal Christmas trees. Afterward, STEP and Upward Bound students enjoyed a meal and received gifts of school supplies from their respective programs.
As we all return from the holiday recess, STEP and Upward Bound would like to wish you a happy and productive new year. Happy new year from STEP and Upward Bound students and staff!
